#Polygon

Key G. A regular polygon.

#How to draw it

1. Press Polygon and set in the bar above the Sides — 3 to 12 — and the way (below).
2. Click the centre (or the first end of a side), then the second point.

The ways:

• inscr. — the second click places a vertex: the polygon is inscribed in the circle;
• circum. — the second click places the middle of a side: the polygon is circumscribed about the circle;
• by edge — two clicks place the ends of one side.

The tool stays in hand — you can draw the next one. Esc puts it down.

#What you get

The sides are tied by equal lengths and angles: the polygon stays regular, and a centre and one size define it.

#Tip

A hexagon across flats is easiest drawn circum.: the circle touches the middles of the sides, and its diameter is exactly the size across flats.
